Ryan Omar Castellano, 32, of Victoria and formerly of Refugio, died Feb. 5, 2009. He was employed with Halliburton for two years and was a veteran of the U.S. Marines.

He was born March 30, 1976, in Taft, to Celinda Escamilla and Oscar Castellano.

He is preceded in death by one brother, Oscar Castellano.

Survivors include his parents; wife, Anastasia Castellano of Victoria; three daughters, Abigail, Ryleigh, and Jackie; one sister, Chasity Hernandez of Flour Bluff; and four brothers, Leonard Castellano and wife Sylvia of Victoria, Jamie Castellano of Florida, Jerry Hernandez and Samson Hernandez, both of Refugio.

Visitation was held Saturday, Feb. 7, at Rosewood Funeral Home in Victoria.

Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, at Faith Family Church in Victoria. Private grave-side services with full military honors were conducted by the Victoria Veterans Council on Monday at Resurrection Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Herman Aguilar, Arturo Gonzales, Ty Johnson, Michael Johnson, Samson Hernandez, and Jerry Hernandez.
