Guest speakers will be Jenna McEachern, author of two books about the Texas Longhorns, and her husband, Randy McEachern, a former UT quarterback who played in the same backfield with Longhorn legend Earl Campbell in 1977.
Jenna’s latest book is titled “100 Things Longhorn Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die.”
In addition to the McEacherns’ program, a silent auction will include several items autographed by UT players, ex-players and coaches.
Among these is one of Jenna’s books, “What It Means To Be a Longhorn,” signed by Earl Campbell; and a T-shirt autographed by Quan Cosby, No. 6, the wide receiver who caught the game-winning pass in the Fiesta Bowl against Ohio State.
All UT-Austin exes, parents of UT students and friends of the university are invited to attend. Cost is $25 per person (with a portion of the proceeds going to a scholarship for an incoming freshman or transfer student from Bee County to attend UT-Austin in the fall).
Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. and dress is burnt orange casual.
