According to these concerned citizens, it has been witnessed that elderly residents have been inconvenienced due to persons using the handicap parking slots illegally.
“We ask everyone to be considerate of those whom are designated to legally use handicap parking slots and to be conscious of not parking in the handicap parking slots illegally,” said Andy Lopez Jr., police chief.
The Refugio Police Department will be enforcing the illegal use of handicap parking.
People who witness a person using the handicap parking illegally are asked to contact the Refugio Police Department at 526-4533.
