Quarterback Tyler Quesada ran for three touchdowns and threw for two more to lead his Woodsboro Eagles to a 42-34 win over the Pettus Eagles in the annual "Bird Bowl". Woodsboro goes to 7-1 overall and 1-1 in district play.
Refugio saws off the Longhorns
The No. 1 ranked Refugio Bobcats shut down Hebbronville in a 77-0 one-sided rout. The cats were ahead 56-0 at the half and coach Jason Herring brought in reserves who continued the momentum. The Bobcats will take on Banquete at home on Friday.
