Program for gardeners set for March 23

Refugio County gardeners can soak up useful gardening tips at the “Lunch and Learn with the Masters” program this month in Victoria.

Sponsored by Victoria County Master Gardener Association, the two program will be held free to the public.

On March 23, gardeners will learn how to bud and graft ornamentals. The program will be held from noon until 1 p.m. at Pattie Dodson Health Center, 2805 N. Navarro St.

Those planning to attend may bring a sack lunch and drink. For more information telephone 361-575-4581.

Victoria County Master Gardeners are from Victoria and surrounding counties. They are volunteers of Texas AgriLife Extension Service who take an active interest in their lawns and gardens, and provide horticultural and related information to their communities.
