Shiner responded several times, the first at 8:52 left in the first quarter with an extra 2-point score, leaving the score at 8-6.
From that point, the Comanches dominated the game. Three Rivers was able to put another 6 points on the scoreboard, but at the end of the first half, the score was 22-12.
Three Rivers did not score again, and the Comanches scored twice in the second half, finishing out with a win, 35-12.
