2013 Farm Service Agency Acreage Reporting Dates

New dates have been announced for reporting to the Farm Service Agency (FSA) for all crop grazing and hay acres.

Local Farmers and Ranchers should take note of revised acreage reporting dates. These new dates have been put in place to coincide with the acreage reporting dates established as required for crop insurance.

The new dates are:

Nov. 15, 2012 – Apiculture, all Grasses intended for grazing or forage (hay), PRF, all Barley, Oats, Rye, Triticale and Wheat planted on or before October 1, 2012 intended for grazing, all Mixed Forages that have grass and small grains in the mix (MSG, SSG, IGS, AGM, ASG, GMA, NSG).

Dec. 15, 1012 – All Barley, Oats, Rye, Triticale and Wheat planted on or after October 2, 2012 intended for grazing. 

Jan. 15, 2013 – Barley, Oats, Rye, Triticale and Wheat intended for grain. Barley, Oats, Rye, Triticale and Wheat intended for forage (hay). Mixed Forages that have small grains and legumes in the mix (LSG, LGG), Clover, Citrus Trees IV, Grapefruit, Grapes, Oranges and Peaches.
