It’s time to register online for the 2013 Goliad County Fair.

Workdays scheduled
The following workdays have been scheduled for the Goliad County Fair Association: Jan. 26, Feb. 2 and 23, and March 2 and 9.

Photo contest this month
The next category for the monthly photo contest will be “Food.” This category is a still-life photo aimed at producing attractive photos of food for use in such items as advertisements, packaging, menus, cookbooks, etc.
Examples include cakes/pies, fruits, Easter eggs, place settings, Thanksgiving dinner, ingredients, etc. (no alcoholic beverages). The 8x10 photos must have been taken within the last two months. Submit photos to the Extension Office by 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10.
Rifle Project to start

There will be a mandatory safety meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 18 at the Julie Wimberly Memorial Homemaking Building.
