REFUGIO — Shirley Jean Smith, 76, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012.

She was born Jan. 27, 1936, in Kenedy to Robert and Alice Hranicky.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Bobby Ray Hranicky; and a grandchild, Justin Brynelson.

Survivors include three daughters, Debra Galbreath Beck, Karen Jamison Stone, and Sandra Smith, all of Refugio; one son, Russell Dean Williams of Refugio; a sister, Burnie Lee Balusek of Refugio; and 10 grandchildren.

Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 28, at Moore Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 29, at Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Dennis Balusek, Larry Balusek, Bobby Hranicky, Brandon Capistran, Robert Kay and David Ruiz.

Honorary pallbearers are her grandchildren, Phillip Jamison, Haley Brynelson, Preston Brynelson,Wesley Wright, Alex Barreda, Bobby Barreda, Sammy Barreda, Dylon Jamison, Kendall Wren, Kynlegh Barreda, Corey Barreda, and Jadin Barreda.
