On behalf of the Lion’s Clubs of Refugio and Woodsboro, we extend our sincere appreciation to all the citizens of Refugio County who braved the inclement weather to come and enjoy Lions Club burgers during our annual Refugio County Fair. Many of you expressed your enjoyment for our flavorful treat. We always like to hear your comments be they good or bad. We thank each of you for your loyal support and we hope you will continue to enjoy this County Fair tradition. We also are indebted to the many volunteers who gave their time and effort to help make this years’ fair a success even in the foul weather. Our thanks to each of you. The proceeds of our burger store are directed toward the scholarship programs for our Refugio County High School senior graduates plus other club projects for our young people. Again we offer our most sincere thanks.
