Conducting the ceremony was NJHS president, Rachel Blaschke, vice president Jessi Gonzalez, secretary Kasten Cisneros, treasurer Raleigh Lansford and members Lacey Barnett, Danny Havens, and Autumn Scrimpsher.
Presentation of certificates and pins were awarded by Linda Garza, principal of Woodsboro Junior/Senior High.
After the ceremony, honorees and guests were treated to an array of refreshments. The fruit tray and cake were made by Bingo Cake Bakery of Woodsboro (Margaret Freeze and Pam Harris). The cake half white and half chocolate was decorated with the NJHS torch emblem.
Also, assorted cookies by Ninfa Rodriquez, plus a pineapple sherbert punch were served.
Marcie Peterson played piano selections and Jesse Garcia set up everything needed for the ceremony and then returned the furniture back in the cafeteria afterward.
