My husband and I were leaving Texas to return to Virginia. We stopped in Victoria Jan. 6, at about 1 p.m. to get gas. I looked down and there in the parking lot a little half starved kitten came up to me. I thought I’m going to Va. what am I going to do with a kitten on the drive back home.
I took him (I checked to see) with me in the store asked around and was told it happens all the time. I left the store holding him as I walked by the parked cars. I saw a blue car with a young couple there and as I walked near I kind of held the kitten up they looked at me and as I got close to the car the young man who had a tattoo on his forearm opened up the door and I told him I found this kitten here and I am leaving for Va. and I already have four cats.
The young man took the kitten and looked him over and said he is clean and I said he smells clean and he smelled him also and said we’ll take him. They were both young I would say late 20’s. All I know is that there are two more Angels in Texas and they deserve a huge Thank you.
I thought you might want to print a brief story in our paper as a thank you for animal lovers.
