The Lady Badger Powerlifting team won 2nd at the Yorktown Tournament last weekend, led by 1st place medalist Caley Jackson and 2nd place medalists Savanah Segura and Roxie Carrasco.
Jackson, a sophomore, won 1st in the 165 lb division, while Segura, also a sophomore, competed in the 97 lb weight class and Carrasco, a senior, competed in the 181 lb class.

Aubrey Tostado: 4th, 105 lb.
Demi Lopez: 5th, 105 lb.
Janna Ochoa: 4th, 114 lb.
Ashlin Liska: 5th, 132 lb.
Hana Ochoa: 7th, 165 lb.
The boys team took 7th at the Yorktown meet Feb. 2.
Jose Hernandez: 4th, 114 lb.
Andres Moncada: 11th, 181 lb.
Nick Quintanilla: 5th, 181 lb
Aaron Lopez: 5th, 220 lb.
Weston Block: Bombed out
Austin Block: 4th, 242 lb.
Nick Guzman: 5th, 242 lb.
Trent Enriquez: 2nd, SHW
The girls and boys powerlifters travel to Stockdale’s meet this weekend, Feb. 9, the last one before qualifying meets and dates.
