Mary E. Tull, 93, of Goliad passed away on February 20, 2013, at her home in Goliad. She was born in Philadelphia on March 7, 1919. She and her family owned Tull’s Seafood on the Blackhorse Pike in Cardiff, N.J. Mary worked with Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, a camp director for many years for all the Girl Scouts in southern New Jersey. When she arrived in Goliad, she worked with her daughter at It’s A Small World Nursery School where she served snacks and was a story time teacher until the age of 90.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Harry A. Tull, Jr. Survivors are her son, Harry (Hap) Tull; daughters, Sandra (Jody) Council and Darlene (Bill) Brennen. Nine grandchildren also survive, Shane Tull, Mike Tull, Joshua Council, Jeffrrey Council, Elizabeth (Betsy) Bartee, Mary McSurley, Billy Brennen, Doug Brennen and Natalie Brennen. She was pleased to find out that she would have two new grand-daughters born in the spring. She said before she passed, “Please have no tears but remember me with smiles. Life goes on as it should.” Family will have a celebration of her life at her home in Goliad, Texas. Memorials may be made to the Goliad County Library at P.O. Box 1025, Goliad, Texas 77963.
