Mr. Ramirez was born May 14, 1955, in Refugio to Dionicio and Guadalupe Ramirez.
Survivors include a son, Renaldo Ramirez Jr. of Refugio; two sisters, Blasa R. Villarreal and Lydia R. Vilarreal, both of Refugio; and three grandchildren.
A rosary will be recited today (Thursday) at 9 a.m. followed by the funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church.
