
Goliad senior Emily Perez (23) was named to the Texas Girls Coaches Association’s Class 2A all-state basketball team named recently. Perez, who was chosen the District 30-2A Offensive Player of the Year, averaged 17.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game in leading the Tigerettes to the regional quarterfinals.
Perez helped lead the Tigerettes to regional quarterfinals by averaging 17.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.
Perez was earlier named the Offensive Player of the Year in District 30-2A.
Aransas Pass’ Brianna Cribb, the District 30-2A Most Valuable Player, was also named to the all-state team.
The only other District 30-2A player chosen to the all-state team was Industrial’s Elissa Beaudoin.
