The annual Goliad Massacre Living History program will be held Saturday and Sunday at Presidio La Bahia in Goliad. The event attracts thousands of visitors each year.
The Crossroads of Texas Living History Association and Presidio La Bahía will stage a reenactment of the occupation of the fort under the command of Col. James Walker Fannin, and the subsequent Goliad Massacre that claimed the lives of Fannin and 341 of his men on the morning of Palm Sunday, March 27, 1836.
