Contestants will compete for trophies and must donate their cooked items for the benefit.

Registration deadline is June 1; registration is limited, so if you have the best barbecue, beans or salsa around, come compete for a trophy and bragging rights, say event coordinators.
Competition categories include: brisket, chicken, ribs, beans and salsa.
The entrance fee for the general public will be $8 per adult and $5 per child; children under 3 are free. With each entrance fee, each guest will receive a wristband and a ballot for voting for The People’s Choice award and allowing for tasting of all contestants’ food items.
There will be music by Ramon Reyna (DJ), fire truck rides for the kids and an auction of baked items. Concession items will be available.
