WHS Student Council will host blood drive

The Woodsboro High School Student Council will host a blood drive Wednesday, April 15, at 5:30 p.m. in front of the high school auditorium.

Woodsboro Student Council has hosted four blood drives Blood drives are a great way to get the community involved with area youth said Rhonda Perez, student council sponsor.

There are 44 Coastal Bend high schools showing their community spirit by donating blood in the annual High School Hero Challenge.

WHS has been awarded second place for the past two years. “We encourage everyone in the county to please come out and donate and support the student council,” Perez said. “It is our desire to assist the Blood Center in its mission to save lives everyday.”
