Woodsboro has begun its Head Start registration for the 2009-2010 school year.

Children who are three years old or going to be three years old during the 2009-2010 school year are eligible to register. Please call Woodsboro Head Start at 543-4518 ext. 420, to make an appointment.

To register your child, please bring an original birth certificate with state seal; immunization records; proof of income, income tax form, W-2, child support or eight consecutive pay stubs, SSI; social security card of child being enrolled; government assistance, food stamps, medicaid, TANF, WIC; and if parent is attending school, proof of attendance is needed.

Head Start is a Federal program for preschool children in need. Children who attend Head Start participate in a variety of educational activities. Head Start help all children succeed. Services are offered to meet the special needs of children with disabilities.
