WOODSBORO – Woodsboro hosted the teams from Driscoll last Thursday.

The Eagles competed, but fell to the Dragons 35-15.

Scoring for Woodsboro were Colton Smith with two points; Tyler Foster added three points; Hunter Rifenburgh made six points, and Cooper Gillespie contributed four.

On Tuesday, the Eagles travelled to Port Aransas. The Marlins won 55-16.

Scoring for Woodsboro were John Hernandez, Foster and Clay Horner with two points each, Zach Vasquez with four points, and Rifenburgh added six points.

“The guys have a good attitude and are still working on getting better, and I think that’s all you can ask for,” said Coach Keith Williams.
