Mario Urbina Gonzales, 46, of Corpus Christi and formerly of Woodsboro, died Monday, April 27, 2009. He was a painter.

He was born Sept. 21, 1962, in Matamoros, Mexico to Adela Urbina and Gilberto Gonzales.

He is preceded in death by his father, Gilberto Gonzales.

Survivors include his mother of Refugio; wife, Alicia Aleman of Corpus Christi; daughter, Elizabeth Gonzales Lopez and husband Alejandro of Corpus Christi; son, Randy Cuellar of Refugio; three step-daughters, Blanca Saenz of Michigan, Annabell Villareal of Dallas and Debbie Sotelo of California; step son, Oscar Martinez of Dallas; two sisters, Adelita Ochoa of Refugio, and Elizabeth Gonzales of Beeville; three brothers, Marcos Gonzales of Victoria, Faustino Gonzales of Beeville and Gilbert Gonzales Jr. of Refugio.

A rosary was recited at 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 29, at Moore Funeral Chapel Home.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 30, at St. James Catholic Church in Refugio.

Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery in Woodsboro.

Pallbearers will be Marcos Gonzales Jr., Roel Gonzales, Faustino Gonzales Jr., Devon Haertig, Joey Barrientes, Alex Ochoa.

Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Cuellar, Jason Gonzales and Gilbert Michael Gonzales
