Incumbent Calvin Wilson has filed for election to the Woodsboro ISD Board of Trustees. He released the following statement this week:

“I, Calvin Wilson would like to take this time to ask the residents of Woodsboro, Bayside and Bonnie View for your support as I seek re-election to the Woodsboro ISD School Board.

“As a 1990 graduate of Woodsboro High School I have lived here most of my life. My wife Rachel and I have been married 17 years, we have three wonderful children who are students at WISD.

“I am honored to be serving our community as a current board member. I take pride in our school, not just as a board member but as a resident of Woodsboro.

“Having graduated from Woodsboro High, I see how our school has improved through the years, and would like to continue to work hard for our school and our community, as I feel we can do great things.

“I ask for your continued support as we head to the polls on May 9.
