We are concentrating on prevention, especially preventing the spread of germs. There are three steps we are taking to help educate our patients, their families and our Associates. We are:
Placing signs in all of our lobbies and Emergency Departments with information on covering coughs and preventing the spread of germs;
Providing a fact sheet about the swine flu at each information desk; and
Placing signs and masks at the doors of our Emergency Departments and clinics asking people to use masks if they have flu-like symptoms themselves or have been in contact with someone who has flu-like symptoms. sherry.carr-deer@christushealth.org
