WHS tennis players compete at regional

Josh Jones and Zach Salinas won third place in boys doubles at the Regional Tennis Tournament in College Station on April 22 and 23.

Montana Williams and Dillan Blaker won their opening match in mixed doubles. R. J. Cisneros and Michael Garcia also competed in boys doubles.

“The kids played hard and can be proud of what they accomplished,” Coach Keith Williams said.

At the Regional Qualifiers Tournament in Port Aransas on Saturday, April 18, Montana Williams and Dillan Blaker took third in mixed doubles, and Jones and Salinas won the boys doubles.

“We’re real proud of these kids,” Williams said.
