As many people have heard that the ABC morning show “Good Morning America” visited my family in Woodsboro on April 24. It was an experience of a life time, and who would have guess that my family was chosen and given the opportunity to appear “Live” on Good Morning America for a four-minute segment.
We were not chosen for the cast of Good Morning America to come in person to visit our home, but it was an honor and an excitement to participate in the preliminary segment of “Why should Good Morning America visit your house?”
When the word got out that GMA was coming to Woodsboro to tape a segment of the program, my wife and I received so many phone calls from our friends and relatives showing their excitement and giving us their support. Many of our friends and relatives could not believe at the fact that the camera crew of GMA was coming to Woodsboro, Texas.
Rachael and I would like to thank everyone that helped us get prepared for GMA, and we would like to especially thank our friends and relatives that were present at our home during the Live taping of us representing Woodsboro, on Good Morning America.
We also would like to thank Kenda Nelson for covering our story during the taping, and we like to thank KIII-TV camera crew for their participation during the taping as well. And we like to thank all the people that were filmed and interviewed during the tour and taping of the town of Woodsboro by the GMA camera crew.
It was an unbelievable event for us and our community of Woodsboro, Texas.
Even though the cast and the staff of GMA did not come to do their morning show last week, let us hope that we get chosen on the next time around.
