The board kept the same tax rate as last year.
Included in the budget is $2.1 million in food services for a 3,300 enrollment, $2.7 million in debt service and a $6.2 million reserve fund balance.
“Our budget is balanced,” says BISD Superintendent Dr. Sue Thomas.
