Country music fans can expect a full evening of toe-tapping, hand clapping entertainment when Pat Grogan, Don “Ranger” Anderson, L.A. Zadansky, and Al Nelson take the stage during the Jamboree on Thursday, May 28.

The Jamboree Band will get the show underway at 7:30 p.m. at the Refugio County Community Center..

Zadansky is a well known drummer and singer in Corpus Christi.

“He is not playing regularly anymore, but still stays close to his love of music by doing the area shows from time to time,” said Rick Faircloth, show organizer.

Al Nelson, also of Corpus Christi is a very good drummer and singer who can sing the Ray Price style as well as the Big Band style, Faircloth says.

The Jamboree Band is known for their talent in traditional-style country music and Western Swing, they also feel right at home playing the top 40s-style country music, which is what you hear on most country radio stations.

“Everyone who loves country music, should some out and listen,” Faircloth says. The show is held every fourth Thursday. Admission remains at $4. For more information contact Faircloth at 361-293-5887.
