The University of Houston-Victoria this week announced that Celena Brown and Willie Villarreal, both of Refugio, were named to its spring 2009 Dean’s List.

Both students are studying at the School of Education and Human Development.

To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must earn at least a 3.5 grade-point average with a minimum of nine semester hours.
