The Austwell-Tivoli High School boys and girls cross country teams competed this past weekend at the port Aransas meet.

“This course was about a half of a mile longer than the meets that we have competed at in the past,” said Coach Zachary Crawford. “Despite the longer course both teams boys and girls continue to show improvement.”

The boys team continues to win at least one metal each meet and the girls continue to get closer to winning metals.

Results for the boys team include Avery Comacho, 8; Oscar Tabora, 11; Casey Simpson, 30; Sean Worley, 32, AJ Reyna 34.

The girls team scores include Haley See, 18; Lauren Kelso, 33; Bianca Garcia, 48; and Desea Hernandez, 49.

“If we continue to improve the next two meets, Skidmore and Bloomington, both teams should do really well in the District Cross Country Meet,” the coach said.
