“It is a homicide according to the autopsy, but I can’t go into any of the details concerning the investigation right now,” said Capt. Tim Wilson, as reported by the Corpus Christi Caller-Times.
Lt. Bill Breedlove said the woman may have died between Monday and early Tuesday.
Telge’s body was found at the end of a trail on a vacant lot, on a bank across from an apartment complex, police said. No gunshot wounds or stab wounds were found on her body; however, police said they believe the body was taken to the location where it was found.
Telge was fully clothed and had no wallet or purse with her.
Det. T.K. Revis is heading up the investigation but he could not be reached for comment.
