Local 4-H’ers attended the District 11 4-H Junior Leader Lab. The theme was Wet and Wild.

Members from the county who attended are Anthony McGuill, Dalton Klare, Ti Beall, Lacie Beall, Kodye Neel, and H.C. Neel.

Adult leaders who attended are Amy Neel and Tina McGuill.

The district-level Junior Leader Lab is a district- training experience for 4-H members ages 8-13. Participants are provided a wholesome, yet educational, experience through cultural offerings, craft activities and social interaction.

“These 4-H’ers enjoyed a variety of fun educational workshops, which included Wildlife Habitat Interactive, Kayaking, Sun Safety, Texas Parks & Wildlife, and Recreational Fun-Inflatable Water Slide,” said Jerry Gray, extension agent.
