As part of The Roads to Reading program, libraries in the county will be open from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 11 for students and patrons to check out books.

Participating libraries include the Refugio Elementary, Refugio High School, Woodsboro Elementary and Woodsboro High School, and the Dennis O’Connor Public Library.

Refugio Elementary students who participated in the Summer Reading Wiki will be treated to a Drive-Inn Movie Night, which will also take place at the same time.

This will be an opportunity for students who have been reading this summer to take A/R tests.

Students in Refugio will be invited to a Back to School Bash to celebrate their accomplishments.
