Celsa H. Cisneros, 90, of Woodsboro died Sunday, Aug. 9, 2009. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Therese Catholic Church and the Guadalupanas.
Cisneros was born to Jose and Soledad Hernandez on July 28, 1919, in St. Luis Potosi, Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Aurelio S. Cisneros; two sons, Edward and Albert Cisneros; and one grandson, John David Cisneros.
Survivors include three daughters, Carmen Cisneros; Susie and her husband Erasmo Escamilla; Sylvia and her husband Robert Silgero, all of Woodsboro; two sons and their wives; Aurelio “Johnny” and Minerva Cisneros of Woodsboro; Arno and Ida Cisneros of Refugio; one sister and her husband, Lucinda and Willie Rodriguez of Fayette, Ohio; one brother and his wife, Manuel and Janie Hernandez of Corpus Christi; 13 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A rosary was recited Monday, Aug. 10 at 7 p.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday, Aug. 11, at 10 a.m. Burial was in St. Bernard Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ronald Escamilla, Russell Escamilla, Michael Cisneros, John Cisneros, Matthew Escamilla, David Jeff Cisneros, Ray Firova, and Marcus Firova.
