Olma Guerra, 70, of Beeville and formerly of Refugio, died Aug. 12, 2009. She was a homemaker.

She was born Nov. 2, 1938, in Cuidad Carmargo Tamalipas, Mexico, to Juan DeLaFuente and Trinidad Davila DeLaFuente.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include one daughter, Olma Weaver and husband Jim of Beeville; one son, Juan H. Guerra of Beeville; two sisters, San Juana Muniz and Martina Muniz both of Garland; one brother, Jose DeLaFuente of Ennis; two granddaughters, Crystal Watts and Nicole Weaver of Corpus Christi and two great-grandchildren, Mickayla and Gregory Watts.

Visitation was held on Friday, Aug. 14, at Trevino Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. A rosary was recited that same evening at 7:30 p.m.

Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday, Aug. 15 at 10 a.m. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Samuel Herrera, Mario Herrera Jr., Isreal DeLaFuente, Leonardo Muniz.
