Falls City downs Woodsboro Eaglets

The Woodsboro Junior High Eaglets battled hard in their final home game of the season last Thursday against the Falls City Junior High Beavers. Outnumbered in players and size, the Eaglets lost to the Beavers, 30-0.

The 8th grade Eaglet players and cheerleaders were recognized immediately after the game for playing in their final junior high home game.

The players are Jake Henderson, Tyler Quesada, Logan Moses, Jared Martinez, Zeke Montalvo, Dustin Wilson, Connor Payne, and manager Edward Meza.

Cheerleaders are Lauren Cramer, Alicen Grimes, Kasandra Hernandez, Danielle Perez and mascot Brittany Lopez.

The Eaglets will travel to Yorktown today to take on the Kits in their final game of the season. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m.
