Parent Connect is Beeville ISD’s home-to-school communication tool that allows parents to keep track of their children’s academic progress online, via an easy-to-use Web site.
Parents and their children may visit the password-protected site to view their information. Parents can also elect to receive automatic notification of unexcused absences, missing assignments or failing grades.
Parents follow two steps: Registering and logging in. Parents must have an e-mail account to use this system. They go to www.beevilleisd.net and click on Parent Connect. Directions are provided on the Parent Connect Web site.
Once parents register, the information is verified by a Beeville ISD staff member.
Once the information is verified, the parent is sent a user name and password through the e-mail they provided. Then they are able to log on and see their child’s information.
Items that can be viewed in Pearson’s Parent Connect include the following: Grades for Assignments and Tests, Progress Report Grades, Report Cards, Daily Attendance, Messages from the Teacher and Discipline Incidents and Actions. Not all of these may be included for every student and every teacher.
If parents need additional information or have difficulties with the process, they should either call their child’s principal or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
