The sale will be held at Victoria County 4-H Activity Center, 259 Bachelor Dr., near Victoria Regional Airport terminal off Highway 59 North, from 8 a.m.-2 p.m., or whenever all plants are sold, whichever comes first.
Among the speciality plants offered this fall will be a hummingbird favorite, the Erythrina, or “Fireman’s Cap.” With red blooms shaped like its common name indicates, the Fireman’s Cap can grow into a showpiece shrub of up to 10 feet tall.
Proceeds from the sale go to improvements at Victoria Educational Gardens (VEG) including the construction of the new Master Gardener Pavilion.
