Bennie Frank Tuttle, 89, of La Grange, died Sunday Oct. 4, 2009. He was a member of the Faith Methodist Church in Woodsboro. Mr. Tuttle had been a resident of La Grange since 2004.

Tuttle was born to Charles Aaron Tuttle, Sr. and Wilma Thomas Tuttle in Woodsboro, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and once sister.

Survivors include his wife Betty of Refugio, one brother Eugene Tuttle and one sister-in-law Mary Tuttle of Clear Lake; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation was held on Tuesday Oct. 6 at 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday Oct. 7 at 10:30 a.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in La Grange.

Services will also be held today, Thursday Oct. 8 at Faith United Methodist Church in Woodsboro. For service time contact Moore Funeral Home in Refugio at 361-526-4334. Burial will follow at LaRosa Cememtery in Woodsboro.

In lieu of floral tributes, the family requests that memorials be made to the charity of one’s choice.
