Reymundo Ramirez, 53, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009.
He was an oilfield compressor mechanic and a Refugio High School graduate.
He was born Oct. 6, 1956, in Refugio to Dionicio Ramirez and Guadalupe Cortinas Ramirez.
Ramirez was preceded in death by his parents; and four brothers, Nicholas, Dionicio Jr., David, and Manuel Ramirez.
Survivors include his wife, Yolanda, M. Ramirez of Ft. Gibson Okla.; four daughters, Bonnie Ramirez; Erica Ramirez; Chelsea Ramirez; Megan Ramirez, all of Ft. Gibson Okla.; one son, Manuel Lee Ramirez, of Victoria; two sisters, Lydia Villarreal and Blasa Villarreal, both of Refugio; one brother, Reynaldo Ramirez of Victoria; and 12 grandchildren.
A rosary was recited on Monday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m., at St. James Catholic Church. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Rick Hernandez, Russel Cisneros, Anthony Ramirez, LeRoy Ramirez, Daniel Lee Ramirez, Louis Valenzuela, Lupita Ramirez, Lisa Ann Perez.
Honorary pallbearers were T.J. Saenz and Johnny Moya.
