Gerald Valderrama, 46, of San Antonio, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009. He was in the survey and construction business and served in the U. S. Marine Corps.

Valderrama was born Sept. 23, 1963, in Refugio.

He is preceded in death by his father, Henry Leo Valderrama; and one brother, Troy V. Valderrama.

Survivors include his mother, Alicia Cruz Valderrama of Woodsboro; wife, Juanita Valderrama of San Antonio; two daughters, Lauren Valderrama of Refugio, and Terri Valderrama of San Antonio; one son, Gerald Valderrama II; two sisters, Elaine Cantu of Refugio, and Melissa Wilson of Flour Bluff; and one brother, Noel V. Valderrama of Louisana; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, Dec. 30, beginning at 1 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be conducted today, Thursday, Dec. 31, at 10 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church in Woodsboro.

Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery in Woodsboro.

Pallbearers will be Trey Adams, James Valerrama, Joe Liee, Wayne Frieze, Lloyd Cisneros Jr., and Alfredo Lopez.

Honorary pallbearers are Mark Sanchez and his nieces and nephews.
