Lady Eagles fall short to Yorktown

The Lady Eagles had a tough game against the Yorktown Lady Kats last Friday. Woodsboro fell short, 35-15.

Bria Brown was the leader in scoring with 7 points followed by Chelsea Bosworth with 3 points.

Trista Yanez and Kitty Avery each contributed 2 and Melinda Hernandez, 1.

Outstanding defensive players for the night were Bria Brown, Kasie Fierova,, as reported by the coach.

“Our offense must score more points,” said Coach Don Woods. “The entire group played hard.”

The Lady Eagles are currently tied with Pettus and Yorktown for third place in district.
