Susie Korff, 66, of Woodsboro, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010. She was a hairdresser for 42 years, and was a member of Faith United Church Women’s Guild.

She was born Nov. 21, 1943, in Orange Grove to Lee and Hazel McElroy Wasicek.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Robert and Roger Dale Wasicek.

Survivors include her husband, Ed Korff of Woodsboro; one daughter, Sheila and husband Stanley Tuttle of Woodsboro; one son, Steven Korff and wife Adrienne of Bay City; one sister, Gail Davis of Fresno; and five grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, Jan. 25, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services were conducted on Tuesday, Jan. 26, at 2 p.m. at Faith United Church in Woodsboro. Burial was in La Rosa Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Cody Tuttle, Matt Tuttle, Nancy Dierschke, Sylvia Escamilla, Carolyn Ray, and JoAnn Franke.

Honorary pallbearers were Sandra Kureska, Mary Perez, Verelene Velle, Nita Meissner, Jeanette Chandler, Mary Alice Vickery, Alice Speis, Nettie Cleveland, Bobbie Zapalac, Patty Hill, Elaine Boenig, Anna Steindorf, Beverly Montgomery, Linda Haertig, and Edie Haertig.
