You may early vote in the Election Division Center located in the old Sheriff’s Department behind the courthouse from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Parking for early voting will be located in the parking lot behind the courthouse. The handicap ramp is located in the same parking lot for those who need to utilize it.
Voting by mail is still underway. The voter must request and application to vote by mail from the County Clerk’s office. A voter may vote by mail if he/she is 65 years of age or older, disabled, confined to jail, or is expected to be out of the county (i.e. college student or working out of town).
If the voter expects to be out of the county during early voting or on election day, the ballot must be mailed to an address outside the county.
The last day that an application can be received in the County Clerk’s Office is Feb. 23. To request an application by mail you may call the County Clerk’s Office at 449-2733 ext. 1029.
