Cheryl Lynn Malik Adrian, 60 of Dripping Springs, died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010. Cheryl worked at Hickham AFB, Honolulu Hawaii, IRS Service Center in Austin, and the Department of Veteran’s Affairs in Austin. She retired in 2007 after 34 years of federal service.

She was born in Sinton, on May 16, 1949 to Edward and Fontella Joan Malik.

Cheryl grew up in Refugio, and graduated in 1967. On Feb. 11, 1968, she married her high school sweetheart Danny Adrian whom she had known since they were in elementary school. She loved traveling, cruising and dancing.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Malik and brother, Nelson Malik.

Survivors include her mother, and husband of 42 years, Danny Adrian of Dripping Springs; two sons, Shawn and wife Gina of New Braunfels; Kevin and wife Rhonda of Dripping Springs; four grandchildren; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was also an active member of Abiding Love Lutheran Church, Ladies Oriental Shrine, and Daughters of the Nile.

Visitation was heldTuesday, Feb. 23, from 6- 8 p.m., at Harrell Funeral Home, 4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, TX.

Services will be Wednesday, Feb. 24, at 2 p.m. at Abiding Love Lutheran Church, 7210 Brush Country Road, Austin, TX with internment at Forest Oaks Memorial Park, 6300 W. William Cannon, Austin, TX.

Memorial’s may be made to the Ben Hur Shriners Transportation Fund of the Shriners Children’s Hospital.
