The book signing of Galloway’s latest best seller, “We Are Soldiers Still”, which is the sequel to his earlier, “We Were Soldiers Once...And Young.”

As Dec. 7 is Pearl Harbor Day, the theme of the event is honoring America’s Military Forces and will feature some of Joe’s soldier buddies from the Vietnam Ia Drang Valley battles and VFW veterans who will be encouraged to tell some of their “war stories” of actual combat.
Bayside Historical Society welcomes all American military, both active and veterans to attend this event and participate in the discussions of their military campaigns and battlefield experiences.
A free tour of the Wood Mansion, a silent auction of historic items, a barbecue lunch catered by Tuttle’s and live music are featured.
All donations of items for the silent auction especially those of historic and artistic content and military memorabilia are gratefully solicited.
