The BISD third- and fourth-grade students visited the Beeville Art Museum, were led on a tour and received a correlating art class of the exhibition titled ‘Then And Now: The World Of Kermit Oliver’ with instructor, Education Director Crystal Farris.

During their tour of the exhibition, the students learned about portraits, landscapes, horizon lines, points of interest, and the difference between primary and secondary colors, as well as history of the artist.

An exhibition of landscape paintings using watercolor crayons created by the BISD third- and fourth-grade students during their visit are on display at the Beeville Art Museum Nov.15 through Dec. 15.

Admission to the Beeville Art Museum is free of charge and the public is invited to visit the museum to view the Children Artists of Beeville exhibition.
