The AWANA clubs had a theme night of “Thanks-Giving” this past Sunday, Nov. 23. The night’s theme encouraged participants to practice gratitude towards God for all his many blessings and towards others in our families and community.

A few members and leaders in the group came dressed as Thanksgiving characters, including pilgrims and Indians.

Members continue to have fun at game time and meal time, and enjoy the weekly Bible story, discussion and handbook activity. Children may continue to register at any time. No fees are charged for membership, thanks to many generous donations during the past weeks.

AWANA clubs will not meet on Sunday, Nov. 30, due to Thanksgiving observances, but will resume at the regular time, 5 p.m., on Sunday, Dec. 7.
