She was born March 9, 1933, in Nixon to Edward and Dorothy Dobrilla Morris.
She was proceeded in death by her parents; her husband John Clendennen; two daughters, Judy Cone and Kathy Telge; and two sisters, Lois Kitchen and Marthie Huddler.
Survivors include one daughter, Jane Henkaus of Houston, and three sons and their wives, John and Cindy Clendennen of Refugio, Mike and Donna Clendennen of Anchorage, Ala. and Douglas and Kathy Clendennen of Houston; three sisters, Shirley Wendt of Odem, Edith Shields of Dallas and Opal Layton of Corpus Christi; one brother, Edward Morris of Comfort; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 2. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 2 p.m., at Moore Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Dr. Jimmy Arnold officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Tim Cone, Bruce Henkhaus, John Henkhaus, Quinten Telge, Frank Upton, and Chris Koliba.
