County Judge Rene Mascorro will deliver the charge to the graduates, and the Rev. John Alsbrooks, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Refugio, will deliver the sermon.
Music will be under the direction of Marcie Peterson, assistant band director for RHS.
The invocation for this event will be given by RHS senior Kenneth Boyer. The Scripture reader will be RHS senior Kyle Steele, and RHS Senior Brittani Wade will be the featured soloist singing a special selection entitled “Who Am I.”
WISD administrative assistant Karyn Borden will offer the prayer for the graduates.
A cordial invitation to attend is extended to all present and former students of Refugio and Woodsboro High Schools, along with the family members, guests and friends of this year’s graduating class.
A special invitation is also extended to the residents of the Refugio and Woodsboro communities.
“The baccalaureate service is the religious community’s way of showing their support for these graduates and extending best wishes to them as they become the future leaders of Refugio County, our state, and nation,” said the Rev. John Alsbrooks.
